Today's EFCA News

Karl Rove continues to serve as political inspiration.

The Hattiesburg American lays the smack down.

LAT provides a run-down on EFCA opponents.

  1. "Ultimately EFCA will cost an employee the right to a private ballot and maybe even his or her job."

Huh? Unions have the ability to fire people? That is news to me.... nevermind the fact that an employer could ALREADY find out whether you have signed a union membership or authorization card under the current law...

  2. Think you might be overthinking this a bit DB. I think they're saying that its enactment would result in increased unemployment, and thus, ultimately, that individuals job. At least that was my reading.

Have something even slightly constructive to add? Praise? Criticism? Ad hominem attacks? Fire away.
